Hi parents! I am the owner of Geneva Terrell Family Child Care in Bowie and I have over 9 years of child care experience. At my daycare, I maintain daily open communication with parents regarding child development and maintain confidentiality. My daycare functions in a safe and healthy environment. I create activities and opportunities to help in the development levels of the children.
Healthy meals are prepared and served, and we always make a designated time for rest and sleep. I meet with all the applicable licensing regulations. I plan field trips for the children, both for their education and entertainment. At my daycare, children's safety is the most important, and I ensure that the children are supervised at all time. The kids room is always incredibly clean and secure at all times.

I have been using Geneva's Family Child Care for over 6 years. This provider did a great job preparing my oldest daughter for school. She is now being considered for her schools TAG program. My youngest daughter just turned two and she is progressing very well. I would recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a caring, clean and safe teaching environment.

As a mother of 3 young children: 9, 4, and 18 months, I highly recommend Geneva Terrell as a day care provider. My middle child started with her at the tender age of 3 months until this past summer to begin pre-kindergarten and my youngest started from 3 months and is currently with her. My experience here, has been exceptional to say the least! When my daughter began pre-kindergarten, both academically and socially she was very well prepared for the transition; which I attribute to her time at this daycare. In terms of infant care, this provider is caring, nurturing, and very attentive to both the need of the child and the parents. I always felt safe and comfortable leaving my babies there. She also is astute in terms of providing a detailed summary of the day for each child. Both of my children are always eager to arrive, and slow to leave and it's very much due in part to the love that is poured into the kids. The Day Care is a second family to my kids, and I recommend this quality service to any family searching for the full package for their child while away.
