Happy Day Daycare

Hello Parents! I appreciate search for the right daycare for your child. Here is a little bit about my daycare and philosophy. What I have to offer you family is much more than a babysitting service, but a loving, safe, and educational environment for your child to grow. You can expect me to love and cherish your child and help them meet their milestones and develop through play and pre-school curriculum. I am a parent myself and no matter how old my children get, I want the very best for them and will love them unconditionally. I know that your child’s health, education, behavior, physical and emotional well- being are very important and I will do my best to provide the loving and supportive care that I would want for my child even to this day. I will also need your help in ensuring that your child receives the attention and care they deserve. You can help me by keeping me informed regarding any health concerns, favorite foods, fears, or special interests. I will share information about your child’s growth and activities during the time spent in my program. As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s life and I will make every effort to support you as a family. I understand how difficult it can be for working parents to balance all of their commitments and responsibilities in their lives. For this very reason, I strive to offer a program that will enrich your child’s development while putting your mind at ease while you are away. I believe that self-esteem is a critical component to optimal growth in young children. I will focus on developing the social and self-help skills needed to have a positive self-image. I will also do my best to assist your child in developing important values such as: good manners, caring, sharing, patience, responsibility, compassion for others and self, as well as communication and teamwork. I believe that children learn well through play and I will implement these important values throughout the day. I also offer daily activities to help ready your child for the next steps in their education. Your child will learn to recognize the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers, as well as beginning reading and writing skills. I will also work on name recognition and name writing and simple sight words, if I see that your child is interested. The children are given the opportunity to explore, experiment, and create in a safe and nurturing environment.
