Miss Miriam's Home Daycare is bright and spacious and provides a great environment for children to be away from home. I have been a licensed Family Child Care Provider for 9 years near Olde Towne Gaithersburg.
I want my parents to feel comfortable when they drop their children off everyday, and to be assured that they are in great hands! I keep my daycare very clean and try to create a stimulating environment for children to play and learn.
My hours are 7:30am-5:30pm. Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack provided. I have current CPR/First aid certification. I have an AA in Early Childhood Education and countless hours of training.

I love this facility and my son does too! This provider has been in our family for years and has always been a pleasure to work with. She’s nurturing, thoughtful, loving, and compassionate and truly cares about each and everyone of her students. She’s so accommodating. She facilitates an enriched learning environment that fosters development for all ages.

My family loves this daycare. Our now 3 year old daughter came from a daycare that didn't provide the attention, care, nurturing and encouragement that this provider provides. This provider took the time to transition her and she has flourished. She is a chatterbox on the way home telling us all about what she learned that day, and even asks to go to school on the weekends. It is wonderful to see her apply the things she has learned, such as adding the number of bridges she sees on the drive home to showing good manners by saying please/thank you and covering her mouth when coughing. She provided support when we were having our 2nd child and has been really wonderful. Our now 1 year old daughter has been at this daycare since ~4 months and she has adjusted to daycare well, and I know that is thanks to this provider. As parents it is a relief to know that our children are happy and in good hands.

This provider provided the best possible childcare and loving, supportive home setting. We truly felt like members of extended family, and loved the community of moms/dads/grandparents/kids she established. Highly recommended, attentive to your child's individual needs and growth. Gives the kids outdoor time to run and play and create and imagine. Storybook time/circle time to encourage learning. Teaches table manners with group lunch/snack/breakfast. She truly loves teaching/playing with/snuggling kids.

My family is so happy to have found this child care. Our now 3 year-old son loves coming to school and learning new things. His enthusiasm for learning is reinforced, his creativity encouraged, and he is always in a great mood. We are so grateful to feel confident that we have a safe and loving space for our child and we never hesitate when we drop him off in the morning. When it's time to pick him up, we find him playing with the other kids there - as they are too waiting for their parents to pick them up while playing, and he's always happy to share with us what he did for the day, and even retell the stories he heard that day, or the ones he made up himself!
Perhaps more telling of all, is our delight to find out new things he has learned; from good manners (cover when coughing) to formal education and practical skills (like singing the ABC when washing his hands). He is only 3 right now, but he has already learned so many new things. Thank you for everything, Ms. M!

Both of my girls had been at this daycare from the time they were babies until they went to Kindergarten. We were so thrilled to have this provider be the one who cared for them while we both worked. Her hours have always been flexible, her care is affordable and we felt like she was an extension of our house. My girls are still in contact with her and still say they miss her (my oldest is almost 10 now!). She is extremely loving to every child at her home. The extra care and love that the kids get being in a smaller home environment in unmeasurable! It allows the kids to prepare socially for school but it also provides them with the extra attention that they need at a younger age to feel confident and important, instead of just another kid. She prepares them academically as well by teaching the 3 and 4 yr old curriculum. I would highly recommend Miss Miriam's Daycare to anyone who was looking for a loving, safe, affordable and convenient daycare. She is truly amazing! My girls were lucky to have a second "Mom" to be with all day!

We love this daycare and miss it very much. We only left because our jobs relocated us out of the area. The provider is very diligent and loving. She treats the children almost more as a family than a business. The facilities are clean, cheery, and safe and she maintains a gentle control at all times. I would recommend her highly to anyone needing daycare services. Your child will be safe and well loved.

We feel extremely lucky that we found this provider. She is wonderful with my child and respectful of our wishes. She frequently goes above and beyond. We hope we are able to send our future children here as well. You won't regret using this daycare.

I highly recommend Miss Miriam's Home Daycare. She provides excellent in-home daycare where she provides plenty of love, stimulation, and learning. My daughter was there for almost three years and only left because she was going to kindergarten. She was there not only for daycare but also for her pre-K work and she prepared her really well for kindergarten. I never worried about Laura when she was at Miriam's Daycare and it was wonderful to watch her grow and learn under her care.
