Hello! My name is Shanece Byrd, founder of The Byrd's Nest Child Care Center LLC. I am a registered child care provider. I am also a wife, and a mother of two handsome boys, Janai and Nahum Byrd. Here at The Byrd’s Nest, our mission is to provide a structured and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and have fun!. The Byrd’s Nest is a safe and peaceful place where we contribute to your child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. This is achieved through positive interaction, building self-esteem and confidence, teaching responsibility, encouraging good manners, and promoting healthy eating habits. Furthermore, your child's academic development will be stimulated through our hands-on, play-based learning curriculum; where every day is packed with exciting things to learn and do! My goal is not only prepare your child for school, but also for life!

Words cannot describe how pleased my husband and I are to have our daughter at Shanece Byrd Family Child Care! If I had to sum it up I would simply say: Peace of mind. Shanece has been nothing but wonderful with our daughter. We searched and interviewed many center and in-home daycares, but hadn't found the right fit. Once we interviewed Shanece we knew we had found a safe and loving place for our little girl. Shanece is kind and caring. She is flexible and more than willing to work with me on any request pretaining to my daughter (i.e. how long she should nap, transitioning from bottle to sippy cup, transitioning from formula to whole milk, etc.). Being that this is our first experience with having our child in daycare, Shanece understood our concerns and fears. She glady sends us photo texts during the day to put our mind at ease that Cambrie is having a great time! I have 100% assurance and am at ease during my workday while away from my daughter. We couldn't be happier!!
