Asma's Family Day Care, Germantown

My program is credentialed and accredited which requires higher standards of quality. I offer an educational child care and preschool program and follow the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies (a 10-month program) and in the summer, I use a 2-month Food Curriculum called "The Great Garden Detective Adventure" where I garden outside with the kids and grow vegetables. Compared to most family child care and preschool programs, as an accredited program, I fulfill the following requirements: children’s developmental progress is assessed with multiple measures and linked to curriculum, I undergo a continuous quality improvement process informed by independent assessors, I offer at least 5 opportunities for families to engage in the program, and hold family-teacher conferences at least twice per year. My family child care program is open from 7:30am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
