Children's House at Holly Hill Montessori is a hidden gem in Germantwon, MD, located within walking distance from Germantown Elementary School and the MARC train station. We are dedicated to offering a wealth of learning opportunities that will awaken and nurture the child's curious spirit within a warm and peaceful family environment, as an extension of the child's home life. Our maximum ratio of 1:10 encourages an intimate atmosphere with a class size of 12 children. Our Directress has successfully completed Montessori training and has passed the certification exam, qualifying her to work with children ages 2 1/2 - 6. She feels deeply that the child is truly a miraculous being and encourages each child to explore the wonders around him, helping him make discoveries with his hands, his head, and his heart. We provide care that helps children build social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative skills, while cultivating the whole child.

My son has been attending for two years and I am thankful everyday that we found this little piece of heaven.
He adores Ms Toni and looks forward to school every single day. He is independent, eager to learn, and has developed writing, reading, math and speaking skills since attending this school.
Anytime I walk in, there is such peace inside the classroom. All the little ones are working independently or having fun together on the floor with their toys. The place is always immaculate and Ms Toni runs the place with such efficiency.
i love that she sends me pictures of my son working by himself and i am always well informed about his progress.
if you can get a spot in this school, do it without questioning. It is AMAZING.
I felt it the moment I walked in that this was the right place for our son and our family and I was right!

I think I speak for all of the parents here in saying that the decision to send our children to Holly Hill has been truly one of the best we've ever made. Toni leads with compassion, knowledge, and humor, and the environment fostered at the school promotes a community of supportive and thriving children. Our oldest daughter, who is now 8, is doing outstanding academically at her public school but, moreover, she's a class leader-- someone who looks out for the other children and helps them succeed, too. We credit this to Toni and Holly Hill. She simply sees the world differently as a result of her time there. Our 4 year daughter old is still enrolled at HH, and we're seeing the same profound shifts in her.
I simply can't recommend the program enough.

Ms. Toni is amazing. When we went looking for a school/daycare we were really hesitant and wanted to make sure we got them into a school where they would learn independently but also grow socially. They would be challenged and grow academically but get the help when it was needed. CHHH provide everything we were looking for. Ms. Toni is very responsive and communicates with us frequently via email and phone. She knows what is going on with each and every child she cares for and teaches. My daughters have become stronger, smarter and more well behaved because of her. I'll be the first to admit we are super picky when it comes to people we trust our daughters care to and Ms. Toni has exceeded all my expectations and we have grown to be really great friends as well. We have referred CHHH to all our family and friends and will continue to even when our kids continue on to kindergarten.
