About Me:
Welcome to Manchester Farms Kids Playhouse, my licensed in-home daycare and preschool in Germantown, MD. Contact my daycare through CareLuLu to get your registration fee waived!
I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 10 years of child care and early childhood learning experience. As a mom of 3, I know how difficult it is for you to leave your child in someone else’s care. However, at my daycare, I provide a welcoming, intimate, and safe environment where everyone feels loved. I also treat each child in my care as if they were my own. I’m CPR and First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your little one is safe with me at all times.
Curriculum
Manchester Farms Kids Playhouse is a bilingual Spanish program so in addition to English, I also expose my students to the Spanish language. I teach them colors, shapes, and numbers in Spanish. This is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual at a young age.
My program follows the play-based learning approach and offers extra-curricular activities, such as writing, singing, and dancing. I also engage the kids in learning games and different activities. We have a circle time every morning where children can bring an item for show and tell. I prepare them for school by emphasizing how to listen, raise hands, take turns, and say "thank you".
My daycare has lots of natural lights and is well organized with many age-appropriate toys such as blocks, puzzles, etc. I have a station for crafts and bins for small toys and blocks. There's also a library of books and a dress-up section of costumes for make-believe play.
Program:
I’m open throughout the year from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I can provide full-time, part-time, and drop-in care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks are served to all kids in my care (already included in the tuition).
Location:
Manchester Farms Kids Playhouse is located in the Manchester Farms residential community of Germantown, MD. My home is near Ronald McNair Elementary School and very accessible to all commuters since I’m only 2 minutes' drive away from Father Hurley Blvd, Clopper Rd (route 117), Richter Farm Rd, and Germantown Rd (route 118). Perfect for your daily commute to work!

My son's vocabulary improved while attending the daycare. His recognition of alphabets and numbers really impressed me.
I also enjoy the daily pictures shared showing his activities and fun with fellow friends.

My son loves going here. I feel confident that he is safe and happy and loved every day when I drop him off. He is learning so much every day and he is making friendships and he is always happy to go. I would recommend Ivis’ daycare to anyone.

My daughter has flourished so much since going to this daycare! She went from barely walking to running behind all of the older kids to keep up with them. And from being shy with most people to basically jumping out of my arms when I drop her off. I really love that parents receive pictures every day to keep them updated, and she has even checked in on how my daughter was after she knew she had a doctor's appointment. I truly feel like the providers care for my daughter, and she loves them also!

I have been bringing my daughter to this daycare for going on three years! this was her first daycare and I am very pleased! I could not imagine my daughter going anywhere else for child care! She is very personable, professional, and very caring person. I have moved houses several times but have always driven to bring my daughter to her. my daughter has learned a lot at this daycare & comes home everyday telling me something new she learned. every holiday and birthday she always gives my child a sweet thoughtful gift!! which is so thoughtful and kind of her! She feeds them breakfast, lunch, and along side a snack which is great for the price !! we received daily photos and updates which is so cute to see all of growth in the pictures. She is very professional and follows all standard procedures. she even goes above and beyond protocol making us feel our child is more then just a kid at daycare but a family member being taken care of! we appreciate her so much!

She is very well loved by our family! She took care of our son since he was 4 months old and loved him like he is hers. She is very responsive to concerns and communicates well. Her curriculum is age-appropriate and always fun! Unfortunately, my family had to move away but had we stayed in the area, there’s no one else we would trust for the care of our son than her. She is not just a care provider, she will love and protect any child in her charge like any parent would love theirs.

She is one of the most caring childcare providers that we have had. My son attended this daycare for almost 2 years. Her location is so clean and inviting. The children are excited to come in the morning and sad to leave in the evening. Everyday a schedule was planned that combined fun and learning. When the weather was nice, she would plan outdoor activities that encouraged the children to get moving and explore. She is friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my son, even during the pandemic. I always felt informed about my son's day and felt i could ask any questions or express concerns. My son was more prepared when he entered school because of the curriculum she uses. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for Great childcare!
