Learn and Play Childcare Services is a year-round home-based daycare in Park Forest, IL. Our family child care program is run by Shameka Johnson who has 17 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:00am until midnight and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have summer camp, as well as before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. So I have been with Learn and Play Childcare located in Park Forest for a little over a year and a half now. Miss Johnson is very professional, and considerate. My son loves her so much, and so do I. The curriculum at Learn and Play is great. With her help my son has learned so much, he no longer needed speech therapy because Miss Johnson's program has him opening up daily, giving him the confidence to express his self. I appreciate the services at Learn and Play and as long as I am living in this area I trust Miss Johnson with my child and his safety. I love that Miss Johnson is a God fearing Woman, especially since religion is no longer in the schools, I enjoy the gift bags with spiritual bubbles and quotes that she gives the kids during the holiday. We will continue to stay enrolled with Learn and Play and I recommend Learn and Play because it has a close knit family feel to it. Her center is very cozy and my son's first day he fell in love with her and her place.
