My name is Janna Lindsay. I am an intern at Posh Babies @Storks Landing Child Care and this place is amazing I’ve know Mrs.Tonya for over a year. My nieces are enrolled, while enrolled my family has seen a tremendous change with them as far as social, academics development. Great Friendly Loving service, very clean and child’s safety is always first. In each room you will see something that just lights up your eyes and know that this is not your average child care center.

Overall Storks is an excellent place for the development and safety of your child. Mrs. Tonya uses the latest curriculum provided by the local school board. At summer vacation we had a concern with our daughter’s development. We addressed this with Mrs. Tonya at the beginning of the 2017 school year. With the focus from Mrs. Tonya and our reinforcement of the lessons you will be surprised with the development of our daughter after just 2 weeks. As parents we believe it is important for the parents to be an active part of our children’s development. Mrs. Tonya has the same philosophy and provided a way for us to start the children’s daily learning upon morning drop off. Overall the facility is clean and sanitized on a consistent basis. There are cameras in the children’s area that can monitor the safety of children. In addition, she teaches the children how to exit the facility (ie. through the door or window) on their own in the event of an emergency. I would recommend for any family that cares about that child’s development, safety and personalized attention to consider Storks as a place of care.
Response from the provider:
Parent Involvement! You are on your way to GREATNESS!! THE WONDER OF A MOTHER 2KING 4:8-37 Our families need to be healed and restored. That can start with a godly woman. What is more touching than to see a mother cradling a child? What a wonderfully natural thing it is to see woman of all races and religions loving their children. The African woman holding her baby has the same sparkle in her eyes as her Chinese sister. From Hawaii to London, Russia to Italy, there are certain feelings that transcend culture. A mother's love is the love from which TRUTH is spawned. We are all very much alike when it comes to the essentials of life. We need, we love, we touch, we give! When God allows us to parent. He desires us to love. Great Things are Still Happening Everyday!!

Let me break down the school, and most importantly TONYA! Tonya is a very cold person. You never know what side of Tonya you will get. The sweet Tonya or the Money Hungry Tonya that finds any reason to charge you extra money to do her job. Don't expect anything that comes out of her mouth to be truthful. She writes fake reviews using your name. Tonya is very short tempered she finds any reason to pick a fight with you. She's very negative towards the kids, and loves bashing the kids to other parents.

STILL SERVICING THE COMMUNITY WITH QUALITY CHILD CARE SERVICES FOR OVER TWENTY FIVE YEARS. OUR BEAUTIFUL FACILITY, PROFESSIONAL CERTIFIED FACULT, RECOMMENDED CURRICULUM, AND BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE INSPECTED AND APPROVED BY THE MARYLAND STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION DIVISION OF EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT OFFICE OF CHILD CARE AND MARYLAND EXCELS. GREAT THINGS ARE STILL HAPPENING EVERYDAY AT STORK'S SMART KID PROGRAM. RE: Dear Ashley and Anthony T: Although you have no current enrollment status in our program, we will use this to strengthen how we qualify families enrolling in our program in the future. Stork's Smart Kid Program is endeavoring to mend divisions in the community and child care faculty and improve campus practices when enforcing the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) policies and procedures after becoming a battleground over the past month from enforcing policies referencing, when a child may not attend child care with an unknown medical illness, illnesses and injuries that requires medical diagnosis, imaging and or outstanding balances. We will continue to pray over the children's health, safety and welfare and wish you the very best.

Ms.Tonya exceeds expectations when it comes to child care, Not only was she a listening ear but also a helping hand, She states what she expects from us all as parents and what we shall get in return, she is strict on cleanliness and keeping ill children home which I truly appreciate, with me being a young mom she has taught me the importance of nurturing my child back to good health so that she won't have to miss school with Ms.Tonya who she absolutely adores....If you want the best you want Storks Landing!!!

You can see her passion and love for children from the moment you meet Mrs. Tonya. My children's knowledge and abilities has increased. She's very thorough in her lesson planning and teaching. She bridges the gap between home and school with every parent. I know my children is getting top notch education! This school sets the benchmark high for any other school/center! It's well worth every dime and more!

Over the span of 9 years all of my 3 children attended Stork's Landing Childcare. I never had to worry about their well being and I was amazed at what they learned from sign language to being prepared for school. We are very happy with the care my children received while at Stork's Landing. I would highly recommend!!
