Shaheen's Daycare is a safe and affordable home daycare. We are a small, family-owned and family-run child care program, and I would love to care for your little one!
This is a 24 hour daycare, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time daycare, drop-in care, for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years old. We can be flexible with your needs and hours, including overnight child care (please note that the standard weekly tuition is for my normal daycare hours 7am to 6pm; please call to ask about evening daycare rates).
Children participate in both structured and unstructured activities throughout the day, tailored to their age and developmental stage. I also provide peanut-free lunch and snacks to the children in my care, as well as diapers and wipes for your baby. All of these are included in the tuition!
Shaheen's Daycare is located in the Arlington Heights neighborhood of Arlington (near Penrose), between Columbia Pike and Arlington Blvd. The closest school is Patrick Henry Elementary School (a 5 minutes walk), and were only a few minutes away from both the I-66 and I-395.

This provider and her daughter were the best things that could have happened to my daughter. I dropped her off into loving arms every day. We moved almost a year ago and she still talks about this provider. She took care of my daughter from 6weeks until over a year and there is no other place I would have wanted to leave her. We even got accepted into a base CDC and chose to keep her at this childcare. Leaving was so very hard. We really can’t... more

My child loves this daycare! I truly feel it is her second home and she is loved and cared for by this provider. My child is thriving at this place, and the provider is very flexible to accommodate parent's schedules. I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

This provider has taken care of our baby since I returned to work when he was 3 months old. As a first-time mom, I was nervous leaving him with anyone at all, but this provider was wonderful with him. He grew by leaps and bounds and was always happy at drop-off and pick-up. This provider is affectionate and warm and I highly recommend her for little ones. I know my son will miss her!

I absolutely LOVE my daycare provider. My son is not normally a big fan of people but I have no problems dropping him off in the mornings because he loves her and jumps right into her arms every morning. He has learned many new words, numbers and even a few words from her native language. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a daycare where your child will be loved just as much as they would at home.

This provider is an incredibly loving and conscientious caregiver to our son, who has really thrived in her care. She and her teenage daughter have taught my son numbers, letters, shapes, and colors, and he comes home knowing something new everyday. She's also very flexible with timing on pick-ups and drop-offs (and in a really convenient location). I highly recommend her!

This is a very caring care-giver and provider. She ensures the child eats well, sleeps well, and interacts well with other children, as age appropriate. She cares very much how the child's day goes and ensures they are eating and sleeping enough. She is very loving toward the children and is flexible with the parents schedule. I highly recommend her.
