About

Bethesda Village Daycare is run by Parvin, who was a registered nurse in adult and pediatric critical care for 29 years. Parvin decided to open a daycare because she loves being around children. Parvin has a Masters Degree from Catholic University in Family Child Development. She has all the credentials for CPR, First Aid and M.A.T. Parvin takes children from as young as newborn babies, and can keep children until as old as 5. She treats the children in her care as if she is their grandmother, and part of her family, and will never charge her parents a late fee. Bethesda Village Daycare is an incredibly warm, nurturing and loving environment. Parvin takes the children to the park twice a day. There is a beautiful big backyard, where her and the children will sometimes have pic-nics outside. This daycare is incredibly clean and spotless, and maintains a very small and private atmosphere. Parvin's philosophy is to make the daycare as loving and nurturing as possible. She acts as a grandmother and wants to be an impressionable part of each child's life. Parvin wants her daycare to be a home to her children and to be part of their lives even as they grow up. She creates an incredible connection with both the children and the parents. She works with the parents and is very flexible to help fit each parent's specific needs.

We love Parvin and Kimberly at Bethesda Village Daycare. Our daughter joined Parvin when she was 8 months old. As a first-time parents, we were very worried about who was going to take care of her for the most part of the day. After visiting a few home daycares, we felt relived when we met Parvin. We immediately knew that she was the right fit. With her background as a registered nurse and loving personality you cannot go wrong! She calls... more

Avery (2.5 years old) was just 5 months when she started at Parvin’s daycare. As a first time mom and parent, I had very mixed emotions about going back to work. After first meeting Parvin, however, I was already reassured. Parvin has been generous, thoughtful, warm and loving since the day we met her. My husband and I know that Parvin (and her whole family!) care very much for Avery and treats the kids as her very own grandchildren. Parvin,... more

"My daughter joined Bethesda Village Daycare when she turned 1 and I had to go back to work. Before finding Parvin, I visited more than 10 home daycares in the area and was extremely worried with the options available. When I first met Parvin and saw her place I felt relieved that I could go back to work not having to worry about Nina's well being. I was sure she would be very well taken care of. Everyday that I take her to Parvin, her... more

I love Bethesda Village Daycare because it is a loving, safe and enriching environment for my son. He has been there for 6 months. I am confident every day that he is happy, well attended to, and that his caregivers are vigilant to any issues he might be facing. His smile when I drop him off tells me that he enjoys his time there.

One of the most difficult decisions, as first time parents, was to decide who will take care of our son. Having interviewed with two other facilities, it became clear that Bethesda Village Daycare was our first choice. The big difference was Parvin herself. Initially, her past experience as a nurse at NIH calmed our nerves - we knew our son would be safe. It was very comforting when we first saw her interact with the kids. The kids... more

We are parents of a one and a half year old who started going to Bethesda Village Daycare since she was seven weeks old. Before she was born, we had the chance to visit few daycares in the surrounding area, but once my wife saw Parvin’s daycare she really wanted our child be in that warm, cheerful and happy place. As soon as that happened, we felt like Ilinca has a third parent. With a healthcare background, Parvin’s medical knowledge about... more
