At this time, we are offering a full-time program, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m and a choice of the two-day program. Students entering K3 should be three years old by September 30th; and must be toilet trained. Students entering K4 should be four years old by September 30th, and must be toilet trained. Our preschool programs use the ABeka curriculum. Colors, numbers, and letter recognition are taught, and phonics are introduced. During their day, the students will have recess, crafts, and snack-time. At the end of the school year, the students are reading and writing! Beginning with our full-time preschool programs, students are introduced to phonics, counting, and writing. Students learn to read one-syllable words. Kindergarten students continue with phonics and reading, simple addition and subtraction. Our students celebrate their achievements in Kindergarten with a graduation ceremony complete with caps and gowns! Bethany Christian Church/Piedmont Christian School is a child care center in Bumpass, VA. At Bethany Christian Church/Piedmont Christian School, we enroll children ages 3-13. We are a small center.
