Sameena Shah Family Child Care, Burtonsville

Hi parents! Welcome to Sameena Shah Family Child Care, my home daycare located near Sandy Spring Rd and McKnew Rd in Burtonsville. I am a former teacher (grades 1-3) and I started taking early childhood education courses when I finished 12th grade. I completed my courses including 90 hours in Early Childhood Care, and I am currently working on my CDA (Child Development Associate) in early childhood education from Montgomery County MD. I enjoy working with children and watching how much they learn and grow. Children are so precious, and the little things they say as they learn make me smile! I am delighted to be a part of each child's life, and to help them to become wonderful and intelligent people and to prepare them for school. I have 10 years of teaching experience and am originally from Pakistan. I've worked at several daycares before deciding to open my own child care program. I love working with children and I also have all the certifications belonging to my passion. Certificates include 90 hours in early childhood care, 45 hours in Medication Administration, Supporting Breastfeeding in Child Care and many more.
