Thank you for visiting La Petite Academy educational preschool and daycare in Centreville, VA. My name is Katara Blythe and I am the Director. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and administration. I have 14 years of experience in early childhood education and I have been a director for seven years. Our educational child care - including daycare for infants, preschool programs, private kindergarten and more - is nationally accredited by NECPA (National Early Childhood Program Accreditation). The standards we follow are higher than the State of Virginia's Child Daycare Licensing Standards. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment here in Centreville and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk. We value the relationships we have with our families and work hard to involve them. We plan a lot of events for everyone to participate in and I work hard to ensure our families meet each other and develop strong relationships as well. I find it rewarding when I overhear a child telling their parent about the great day they had and how much fun they had with their teachers and friends. More than half of our teachers have been with our school for over five years. Our teachers have over 100 years of combined experience in educating children.
