Dover Children’s Center provides experiences that enhance the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development of the whole child. Feeling capable about oneself; confident and secure, allows the child the freedom to explore and investigate the learning environment. Our curriculum is based upon the philosophy, through a balance of teacher and self-directed activities that includes: health, safety, nutrition, sharing and conversation times, music, art, games, exposure to math, language and science. Dover Children’s Center provides safe, affordable, high quality child care and early education to all children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. Priority in placement is given to children and families with financial, social, behavioral, physical or developmental needs. Early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery!
