Parvis Estates Kids Playhouse in Fairfax Station is a licensed home-based daycare and preschool. The child care facility is located in the Parvis Estates community, right off Ox Rd, near Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286).
About Us
Hi, parents! I’m the owner and caregiver of this nurturing child care program, and I have 12 years of professional experience. I’m a mother of 2 grown-up kids, so I also have first-hand experience with my own kids. I run my daycare program with my assistant who has 3 years of experience, and we’re both CPR & First-aid certified. I can administer over-the-counter medication to all kids attending our program since I’m a M.A.T trained.
Curriculum
Parvis Estates Kids Playhouse follows the Play-based learning approach that allows children to learn through play and fun, age-appropriate, educational activities. Our curriculum helps our young students boost their self-confidence and improve their communication skills.
We offer lots of engaging activities such as reading, coloring, painting, playing music, singing, circle time, and much more! I also take children out to our large, private backyard playground where they can enjoy outdoor activities. In addition to English, we can also teach your little one basic Spanish like numbers, colors, and the alphabet.
Program
We’re open all through the year from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, from Mondays to Fridays. We provide full-time care for infants as young as 5 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I’m part of the USDA Food program and we serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all children our care (all included in the tuition).
We also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old (we’re close to Fairview Elementary School). Due to possible allergies, we run a peanut and tree-nut free environment.

The owner offers a warm and inviting space for kids to grow, play, and learn. Her family style environment allows kids of all ages to interact together, great for kids with siblings to learn how to be a good sibling. She offers home-cooked meals that win over the pickiest of eaters. Her staff is amazing and our daughter runs to them everyday with open arms! We have loved having her be part of our family for over 2.5 years!

Our child has been attending this daycare since 8 weeks old. It was so hard to send our little one to a daycare so young but the owner and her team made us feel at ease. They are truly incredible! It’s been 8 months and every time we go to pick up, we are greeted with a big smile!! 10/10 recommend this daycare!

The caregiver takes daycare to the next level! This is the perfect stepping stone that prepared my little one for the structure and social skills required for pre-school. The kids get so much outside time and she even planned a class field-trip for the families to visit the zoo to reinforce what the kids were learning during circle time! Can't recommend her enough!

The caregiver was absolutely wonderful with our daughter and she grew a lot under her care! My daughter absolutely adores them! She squeals every time I drop her off. The circle time has really helped her learn songs and words that I believe she never would have picked up as a 14 month old in a different center. The provider and her assistants were very loving towards my child. Everyday when I dropped her off and picked her up she was happy. This provider has hired a musical teacher to come weekly to do songs with the children and they really seemed to enjoy that. My child was in this provider's care from age 3 months to 2 years.
