About Us:
At Cedar Lakes Children's Den in Fairfax, we offer a family-oriented, fun, and friendly licensed daycare in Fairfax. Our facility is located off Cedar Lakes Dr and Monument Dr in Fairfax (near the Fairfax Towne Center and Fair Lakes Pkwy). We're within a short drive of all major access roads: I-66, Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy (Route 50), and Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286).
I'm the owner and I have 10 years of experience in child care, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and I'm also CPR and first-aid certified. For me, the most important element of quality child care is responsive caregivers.
Infants and toddlers are at a critical age when their brains develop the most, so they and must receive undivided attention. Our goal is to maximize each child's learning potential in all areas: social, emotional, and physical.
About Our Program:
Our family child care and preschool program is open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm and we care for children as young as 3 months through 5 years of age. Lunch and snacks are included for children attending our daycare and are already part of the tuition.
We have a lot of toys for children of all ages to explore and learn. We incorporate fun activities including painting, arts and crafts, free play, music, reading books, educational projects, etc.
Our daycare offers a fun and safe learning environment with a fenced outdoor play area, indoor gym and multipurpose room, as well as access to computers for older children and a library to develop a love of books!

She is a perfect caretaker for any infant or toddler! She is very kind, generous and loving. All of her babies are fed delicious healthy food and are very happy with her. Often, they don’t want to even leave her! Highly recommend to everyone.

My daughter has been under this provider's care for the past year and I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful home daycare. This provider treats all of her children just like family and I know my daughter is happy, well-cared for, and most importantly, loved every single day. I highly recommend this daycare!

We couldn't ask for anything more when looking for someone to care for our son. He often comes home having learned new things and is always excited to go back (sometimes he doesn't even want to leave!) . My son has been attending this daycare since he was 9 months . He is 18 months now and he loves this provider. It’s the best childcare I have had so far and it’s very safe.

We couldn’t ask for a better place to care for our child. The owner is wonderful and it is very clear that she loves children! Our 2 year old son talks about her and her sweet husband constantly. He loves going to her house and I know that he is well taken care of because sometimes he doesn’t want to leave! This provider has been caring for my son full-time for the last four months. If we weren't moving out of the area, we'd happily continue our relationship with her daycare.
