Care A Lot Child Care Center is a year-round home-based daycare in Gaithersburg, MD. Our family child care program is run by Firoza Salahuddin who has 19 years of child care experience and has an Associate's degree. We are open from 8:00am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 12 months through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. We use a play based and Montessori curriculum. This is a wonderful center with a loving and supportive Director. When I first came for a visit, my granddaughter, who was less than a year old at the time, I felt a sense of care and compassion and was impressed by the curriculum for all age groups! My granddaughter immediately took to the provider even giving her a kiss before we left! My daughter was equally impressed upon her visit. We started with this provider with our first son, almost 7 years ago. It was immediately clear that the teacher loved our child as one of her own and he thrived in his new environment. Our younger child is currently enrolled and again we are very happy. It feels as if he is at home instead of school but he receives the loving attention and instruction that helps him feel safe and allows him to grow and mature.

Adam went here from the age of 3 months until going to school. This provider was very genuine and caring. There are not enough words to describe how blessed we are to have this childcare provider. We highly recommend this provider.

The positive: beautiful facility, spacious, flexibility with hours. The negative: my son comes home with bruises on his face, complained other kids push and scratch his face. He also complained that the teacher is always angry. No academic curriculum, mostly play all day.

The provider is an amazing childcare provider. We moved our boy to 3 different child care providers between the time he was 6 mos-1 year because we were dissatisfied with the care he was receiving. When we found this provider we were so relieved. She met all our requirements and provided excellent care and enrichment. I highly recommend her!
