Founded by Violet Merikh in January of 1995, Violet's Day Care Center is a year-round center in North Potomac, MD celebrating more than 20 years as a trusted name among parents and families. We are open from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years. We offer both full time and part time care. We provide organic meals cooked from scratch daily and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Our facilities include a playground. We have only the highest praise to give to Violet, her mother and her facility. Our daughter spent from 8 months to three years of age at Violets and still misses and talks of Violet frequently. Violet is beyond amazing! I highly recommend her loving at-home day care environment. My husband and I researched many, many daycares before deciding to enroll our first child with Violet. Our daughter enjoyed all-day care from 6 months until 3.5 years. Violet and her staff are amazing warm people that provide a nurturing environment for your child from infancy on up. We were so lucky to find out about this center and used it for our youngest son from 12 weeks old through ~ 4 years old. When it was time to leave, it was tough b/c they became our family. We would recommend Violet's center again and again.

We love Violet! Very happy with this in-home daycare provider. We have sent my daughter here since she was 3 months old (almost 2 now) and she loves it. Violet loves the kids like they are her own and it makes me so happy to know that my daughter is in great hands. I highly recommend Violet's Day Care.

We enrolled our daughter at Violet's when she was 5 months old, and she stayed there for a year (until we moved out of town). Our experience with Violet, put simply, was excellent. She is a nurturing person who cares deeply about each child in her care, and we felt very comfortable having her take care of our daughter. Even though we're no longer in the DC area, we would HIGHLY recommend Violet to anyone!
