I have been doing daycare for 19 years. What started out as a temporary care situation for a family member, turned into a new career for me, something I care very much about. In saying that, this new Stars system rating for daycares is something I will not participate in. The questions/answers are geared more towards a daycare center or group home. I am a family home and many of the those questions do not allow for a family home to answer correctly, and in turn, we get a lower score.
