About Me
Welcome to Aissatou's Home Day Care, my intimate home daycare in Herndon, VA! I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 14 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. As a mother of 4 myself, I can relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding safe and nurturing, yet affordable daycare. My family child care program is small, so you can be sure that your child will receive individual attention (I will take a maximum of 4 children only).
Curriculum
My program follows the Play-based learning approach, which means your little one will have fun while learning through play and educational activities (e.g. Story Time and Arts & Crafts). If weather permits, I can take the kids out to the community park near my home, as well as to the community library. In addition to English, I speak French and offer a bilingual French daycare program. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn another language (note that my daycare is not a full French immersion program, I also speak English to my little students.)
Program
I’m open year-round from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I can provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old (my facility is close to Hutchinson Elementary School, St. Joseph Elementary School, Herndon Elementary School and Clearview Elementary School). If needed, transportation can be arranged. All children in my care are served snacks, already included in the tuition. To avoid possible allergies, I run a peanut free environment.
About Me
Aissatou's Home Day Care is in located in the Jefferson Mews apartment complex, in the City Street area of Herndon, VA. I’m near Eden St and Sterling Rd (route 606) and your commute to work will be convenient since I have easy access to these major roads: Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286), Dulles Access Rd (route 267) and Sully Rd (route 28). This provider is very kind and caring with both of my boys. They love to stay with her and play with her kids as well. I have not had any complaints from my 3 1/2 year old or 1 year old, who are also very vocal. She does her best to abide any special requests you may have.

This provider is very patient and wonderful with all the children I have seen in her care. I get the sense that she truly enjoys her time with children, and communicates perfectly. I also really love the fact that she frequents the nearby library and will always make an effort to be outside in good weather. Thank you!
