Banks Family Child Care is a licensed family child care provider in Lakewood, CA with the license issued by the L. A. Day Care-East (33). This is a home-based child care that offers a small setting. Please send an email for more information.We offer a half day preschool program to children 3-5 years of age in preparation for kindergarten. Our program focus on a higher learning level for all children to include tutoring. We communicate both with their teachers and parents. In the summer we actively participate in the swim program at the local park and include mandatory school work for at least an hour . Our program do not have a high staff turnover. Our staff are college students majoring in the field of early education. We are in this field because of the love of watching your child grow and develop. Because we are home based we tell parents we are not babysitters. We do not sit them but teach and nurture them!
