TLC for Young Children, Liberty

TLC provides a clean, safe, healthy environment where every child can develop emotionally, physically, intellectually, and socially. We are committed to providing safety and security for all children. TLC encourages learning and growth through play in an environment designed to strengthen your child’s muscles, build coordination, stretch his/her imagination, and to learn in a way that is fun and enjoyable. We believe that children should be allowed to grow at their own pace and to learn in ways that help them become confident in themselves as learners. Our goal is to provide all of the children with a clean, safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Respect toward self, others and the environment will be emphasized. We believe in the value of both structured and unstructured activities. Structured activities will include the use of a preschool curriculum, regular reading times, circle times, arts and crafts, gross motor activities and musical activities. Outdoor play and center times are some of the more flexible and unstructured activities which we offer. It is our goal to create an environment and program which enhances the child’s natural desire to learn through meaningful, appropriate, and playful activities. TLC is a full day program available Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. In order to reap the full benefits of the program, 4 year old students are hopefully able to attend Monday thru Friday from at least 9am to 3pm. This program was designed to prepare students for Kindergarten, whether it be the following year or two years ahead.
