I operate a state registered family child care in my home. It is a muti-age program with children age 6 weeks to 6 years. I believe in children's construction of their own knowledge with the understanding that their interests are to be supported. Children also work together to accomplish tasks, like setting the table. Curriculum is built into our daily activities in a natural way, providing rich opportunities for social and emotional development, a key piece of school readiness.
