Great Expectations Child Care, Reston

My name is Lisa and I am the owner and director of Great Expectations Child Care in Reston, VA. We have been in the child care business for 24 years and provide a healthy, safe, and state-licensed daycare and preschool. Our facility is smoke-free and pet-free, located Reston in an upscale neighborhood. Great Expectations Child Care is also conveniently located near Dulles Toll Road and Fairfax County Parkway. My 2 full-time staff members and I are responsible, energetic, creative and nurturing. We just love what we do! We know how much your children and their development means to you and it's our goal provide a safe, caring and loving early learning environment for your loved one! Safety and security of our little students is one of our top priorities. We are CPR and First-aid certified and all teachers undergo a background check every 5 years. Parents also need to enter a security code before they can enter our facility. We do a lot of practical life exercises and activities and we teach the children to be independent, innovative and well-mannered. We also go on field trips and take them to the park and the library. We invite different professionals like dentists, firefighters, people from the library to have a talk and teach them. In the summer, we have a fun summer camp program with different kind of activities like water play.
