Welcome to Glenallan Children's House, my small home daycare in Silver Spring!
I’m the owner and caregiver with 12 years of experience. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration. I’m also a mother of three, and I am CPR and first-aid certified. I care for infants as young as 4 weeks, and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also provide before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old.
My family child care program offers various flexible options to accommodate working families. I can provide full-time daycare, part-time daycare and drop-in care if you only have occasional needs. My daycare hours are from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, and I provide peanut-free snacks to the children in my care (included in the tuition).
Glenallan Children's House is located near the Glenallan Elementary School in Silver Spring, off Randolph Rd. We’re also close to the John F. I'm so happy I was able to find this provider for my daughter. My daughter has been attending this daycare for 6 months and she loves her teachers, she runs towards them with a big smile every morning. This provider is amazing! I was nervous about leaving my 6 month old when I had to return to work, but she made it so easy! Now my son is 1 and he has a giant smile on his face at drop off when he sees her. He is clearly happy there and the love she has for the children is so evident. I don't hesitate for one moment leaving my child there.

The owner and her team are amazing and so welcoming. They are truly like our extended family and my child (infant) absolutely loved this daycare.

We feel INCREDIBLY lucky to have found this daycare provider (and her wonderful team) for our son. He gets excited as we pull up every morning and can’t wait to go inside. He’s made wonderful developmental progress on every front since starting with her six months ago, and it’s clear that she views childcare as not just a job but a passion / calling. The peace of mind we get from leaving him in such capable hands everyday is priceless.

The provider and the other teachers give a lot of love and personal attention to the children. Our son had trouble taking a bottle at first, but they worked with him until he got it (and invited me to come nurse at lunch times in the meantime). This provider has really helped our daughter flourish! Its a great place for a wide variety of ages. She has learned so much with this provider, and it so nice to know she is well taken care of while we are at work. She runs a structured yet fun day, with a good variety of learning of fun. Our 2/y/o daughter has been with this provider since she was an infant, and LOVES this home daycare. The operator and staff treat her like family, and the environment is the most loving we've had of any care option we've experienced with our three children. She's learning above her developmental level, and is nearly potty trained at 2 thanks to the efforts of her caregivers. Highly recommended.

This is a great place for your kid. This provider and her assistants are awesome. They take care of the kid as their own. Very approachable teachers. They will love and care for your kid more than anyone.Your child will learn good habits, and will love the place. This is my child’s second home and I am so grateful!!

I strongly recommend this provider She has taken care of my 2 kids. She really cares and walks the extra mile for the kids. Behavior therapist for my kid gave her a great review as well. She teaches different languages. This is really a home environment for kids and they make progress with her.

This is an amazing teacher. Our daughter started with her at 4 months old and we have been very impressed with this provider. and her daycare. The daycare space is bright and clean. She has an immense amount of experience working with young children and we clearly see the results of that in our daughter's development.
