Growing Angels Family Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Silver Spring, MD. Our family child care program is run by Teresita Hernandez who has 30 years of child care experience and has a Bachelor's degree. We are open from 7:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 5 years old. We offer both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 5 years old. We provide meals. Growing Angels Family Daycare is a language immersion program that offers Spanish and Tagalog. I feel very comfortable having my child attend here. All of the teachers are attentive and diligent. They have a great set up with many toys and activities for the kids to do.

We absolutely loved this provider and everyone who works with her in this place. If we weren't moving out of state, we never would have left. As first time parents who were/are very uncertain about everything, she reassured us about our son's development and every cough/sniffle. We highly recommend this provider and this place to everyone.

My wife and I are first-time parents and were very anxious to go back to work when our son turned 3 months. Fortunately, we found this daycare, and we have been so incredibly pleased with her and her staff. They communicate well with us and our son, who is 15 months, and he even has learned to recognize words in both Spanish and English (like aqua, "papa," baila, and zapatos). This provider and her staff have been great. They’ve been very flexible with us, which has been helpful as we learn the ropes with our first child. They listen to our feedback and concerns and take a genuine interest in helping us, becoming part of a team effort at each stage.
The space is clean and well-kept, toys and learning materials are kept up-to-date. Our little guy is happy to be there.

This provider and her team are wonderful and caring. My child has been there since they were 10 weeks old. There are usually 3 staff members onsite with the children. The kids have circle time,arts time and they go outside most days (if the weather is not bad). The provider is continuously educating herself on the best methods to teach the kids.
