I strive to provide quality care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through developmentally appropriate practices in a loving home care setting. Your child’s cognitive, language, social-emotional and fine and gross motor skills will emerge and grow at their own pace as he or she participates in a balance of child directed and teacher initiated activities.
I am CPR and First Aid trained and also have a degree in Early Childhood Education. This is my fifteenth year in home day care, prior to this I taught preschool for seven years. Meals are uncomplicated and included in your tuition when your child reaches eighteen months.
I like to keep the parents informed on their child's daily activity in my care, so I write up a daily “What I did today” form for each parent. It tells the parent what their child ate, nap time, circle time activities, and gives an overall picture of their child while in my care.
