Laura's Home Daycare is located in Catonsville, MD. I take children infants and up. I can do full time, part time and drop in care.
I am CPR, First aid and SIDS trained. I have my 90 hours certification in early childhood education. I worked as a nanny for 6.5 years before opening my daycare in August 2011 and have done childcare for 15 years. I have cared for children from infant to teen.
I have one daughter who is 9 years old, she will be in school full time. I also have a son who is 3 and will join the kids daily for play. I love children and will treat yours as if they are my own.
I provide lunch and 2 snacks every day for all children. I will provide a weekly menu. If you child has special needs please send their food with them. I am NOT a peanut free or meat free home so please plan accordingly. I have a fully fenced in yard so kids have lots of space to play outdoors.

Laura's Home Daycare doesn't have as much emphasis on "curriculum" as traditional daycare centers, naturally, but the tradeoff is real. In my opinion, for the 0-4 age group, the importance of curriculum pales in comparison to the benefits of a warm, caring, homey environment. Ms. Laura takes very good care of the children. Many age appropriate toys are provided for free play. They go on field trips occasionally. Having diapers and food provided is an amazing perk.
The only thing I disliked is they don't have outside play every day, even on nice weather days.
