We offer year-round daycare in Arlington, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. We provide both full-time and part-time child care for infants as young as 1 month old, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old.
Tuition includes daily lunch and snacks, prepared in a peanut-free and tree nut-free kitchen to help keep children with allergies safe.
We also offer a caring and inclusive environment for children with special needs, including those with behavioral challenges. Depending on each child’s needs, we work closely with families to provide the right level of support and create a safe, positive experience for every child.
Hello parents! I am the owner and main caregiver of Long Branch Creek Playhouse. I have over 14 years of hands-on experience in child care, along with CPR, and First Aid certifications, so you can feel confident your child is in safe and capable hands.
My journey started as a daycare assistant, where I discovered how much I truly enjoy working with children. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find a safe, nurturing, and trustworthy environment. That experience inspired me to open my own home daycare in Arlington, where children can learn, explore, and grow in a warm and supportive setting.
I speak both Amharic and English, and I enjoy sharing aspects of Amharic language and culture with the children when appropriate (based on parents' preference). My goal is to provide more than just child care. I strive to create a loving, home-like environment where every child feels comfortable and every parent feels confident. 😊

Throughout the day, we include music, movement, and outdoor play in our fenced yard to support physical development and active fun. Nutritious meals and scheduled rest time help children stay happy and energized. In the afternoon, children enjoy group games, hands-on activities, and story time, encouraging cooperation and problem-solving skills.
By the end of the day, children leave feeling happy, confident, and excited to come back. 🌟
