We absolutely love Olga and her daycare! It's an in-home daycare in Burke, VA. The entire top floor of this split-level house is dedicated to the children, including separate toddlers and infant sleeping rooms, a classroom where the kids do art and practice letters, and an open toy room adjacent to the dining area. There is also a huge playground in the yard that is gated for safety. Our girls have been attending for a year and they are thriving. They adore Olga, and she clearly loves them (and all of the children, for that matter!). She is nurturing and very structured about the schedule. She's a great communicator and lets us know at the end of every day how things went. She doesn't have the capacity right now to do updates throughout the day, but she does share photos every now and then via text and generally keeps her (private) Facebook page up to date. My older daughter comes home with a monthly packet of worksheets and activities the kids have completed, which we love to look through together. Her writing is getting stronger. Overall, we can't say enough good things about Olga and the care she provides our little ones!

Olga is a great caregiver and we are so comfortable having her watch our daughter all day. Olga and her team are so warm and treat all the children as their own. Our daughter had no hesitations about getting dropped off and is super excited to see them every morning. (Not sure she's always happen to see us when we pick her up ;)) Olga home daycare is full of love, laughter and a lot of fun and learning. She offers breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks for the kids. My daughter always comes home with a fully belly. She clearly loves the homemade food from Olga. Olga is so good with kids and understands their needs and went to push them. Our daughter was able to sleep on a cot with other kids in the room at 13 months (no way this would happen at home!). I trust Olga completely and couldn't as for a better daycare provider for our daughter!

Olga has been a wonderful daycare provider for my daughter. When I drop her off, she is so excited to see Ms. Olga and her family. She reaches for them and doesn't care when I leave. She provides a loving, fun, and educational environment. I can tell she loves all of the kids whole-heartedly. This is seriously THE BEST daycare! She uses the UPPER level of her house for the daycare which is very unique for a home daycare. Most home daycares are in the basement or lower level. Each room is dedicated to a different type of activity. She has a nap room, an art room, a playroom with toys, a bouncy ball room, and a dining area. She also has a huge fenced in outdoor playground for the kids. Olga's daycare has great hours that allow for flexibility. She serves breakfast at 8:00 am, snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. Her schedule for the kids involves a lot of outdoor time, nap time, fun activities that incorporate learning like art projects, baking, music, dance, etc. She even has really fun holiday parties for the kids and invites the parents. I like this because it allows us to meet other parents and it makes us really feel like family. We couldn't make it to one of the parties, so Olga dropped off our daughter's goodie bag to our house. I found this to be so thoughtful! I trust Olga with my daughter's health, safety, wellbeing, and education. I also enjoy my personal interactions with her as well. She and her family are very welcoming, easy to communicate with, and fun! I have no doubt that my daughter will have a smooth transition to kindergarten when that time comes. I highly recommend Kiddies Home Daycare!

We moved to the area with our toddler son and were a little anxious about starting daycare as he had only been cared for in our home by a nanny up until that time. After touring Kiddies Home Daycare and meeting Olga and her family, we were hopeful that we had found a decent place to get started. It. Has. Been. AMAZING. Beyond all expectations. I swear, Olga is a baby and toddler whisperer. She handles a group of energetic kids of different ages with ease and does so many amazing things with them - water play and gardening in the summer, baking class (yes, really!) on Fridays, arts and crafts, holiday parties, you name it. She has a great set up with a spotless house, kitchen where she home cooks all of their meals, completely dark separate sleeping area, and multiple different activity rooms. Hers is truly a family business and we often are sent pictures of her youngest son reading to the children or find our son riding around on the shoulders of her husband in the playground when we arrive for pick up. She takes so much pride in her business and it shows in every aspect of her attentive care. Our son is still one of the youngest in the group at almost two years of age and the degree to which he has grown and changed since being with her amazes me. His vocabulary has taken off with new words almost every day, he knows his shapes and colors, and is starting to learn letters and numbers. Olga is so kind and caring but doesn't baby the kids - she knows they are sponges and keeps them learning at all times. She had him learning to sit at the table and feed himself in addition to sleeping in a cot rather than a crib right after he turned a year old (his grandparents are amazed how well and neatly he can handle himself at the table now). Our son nightly asks to see pictures of his friends from school and literally jumps into her arms in the morning where he is greeted with a hug and a kiss. Olga rides the extremely difficult line of being adored by "her babies" as she calls them but also maintaining a schedule and a firm expectation of manners and good behavior. I completely, 110% trust her with the care and teaching of our son and am excited to enroll our baby with her next year after my maternity leave. The only reason I hesitate to post a review is because I don't want her secret getting out! This place really is wonderful and I feel so lucky to have found it. Please do consider getting in touch with Olga about childcare - she has a true gift with the littles!
