My son attended this program for 14 months. In that time there was approximately 9 full staff turnovers - on more than 1 occasion all staff would quit or be fired all at once and the programs ability to operate within the appropriate ratios would result in having to keep my son home. There were several instances of recieving notification less than an hour before opening that the program would be closed. The owner Diane may have been an exceptional teacher when she initially started her career, however now she is burnt out and should really retire - since she struggles to retain staff she is obligated to be in ratio a majority of time. There were instances I personally observed of her losing her patience and raising her voice to the children. Much of her curriculum and knowledge regarding nutrition and curriculum are greatly outdated and feedback of any type of not welcomed. On two occasions, my child was injured by a peer and I was not notified and only obtained information regarding the incidents after asking several questions and sending pictures. Diane is abrasive and passive aggressive towards both the children, parents and staff. She targets children she dislikes especially children with disabilities. While almost all of the staff she hires are excellent, caring, compassionate and dedicated to the children it was evident Diane was intolerable to work for as there is no room for feedback and programmatic growth. There are mice/ feces and mold within the program and my son was almost consistently sick. Your required to provide a 2 week notice of termination which leaves the child in a vulnerable position to be targeted and regardless if your child attends the last 2 weeks the parent will be charged. If your looking for consistent, quality care this is not the place.
