This small, accredited day care is a close and caring community, willing to work with you on any issue, and always looking for new opportunities for the children. The teachers are all native Spanish speakers and it's a Spanish immersion program, which has been wonderful for my daughter- she's been there since she was 8 weeks old and now at 2.5 years she has conversations with her teacher in Spanish (and never stops talking in English at home). The facilities are nothing special but are perfectly adequate and I love that they make the kids homemade meals and snacks every day. As an aside, the picture associated with this listing is not David's Stars, which is located in a brightly painted, converted row house, but the building next door. My biggest concern has been occasional periods of higher than ideal teacher turnover, but I've consistently been impressed with the director's ability to find and train excellent new caregivers. We have been extremely happy there!
