Vision School is a brand new facitiliy that provides quality care for preschool and after school students. We are committed to teaching the children of our community by providing a quality educational program. We hope to teach each individual to learn and grow in an environment of God’s love. Working in close partnership with parents, Vision School strives to give children a head start by helping to develop the academic, physical, social and spiritual needs of each child. Our center is designed and administered by a caring community of teachers and experienced staff. By recognizing different learning styles, our teachers foster a love of learning through a balance of a structured academic program, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and creative play. The center provides opportunities for all children to learn and play together. Vision School also provides Shepherd Child Caring, which is originated in the Scriptural passages as Jesus is the great shepherd looking after his lost sheep with a loving and compassionate heart. Our teachers are trained according to the Shepherd Child Caring Training Program, which will ensure that children are taken care of with a loving and compassionate heart just as Jesus Christ did for his sheep. We are excited to have your child learn, play, and grow at Vision School! Preschool (ages 2-5) Our daily program includes language arts, music, tactile and sensory exploration, and outdoor play. Our school offers extra classes such as arts and crafts, ballet, and taekwondo classes at an extra fee. The curriculum focuses on developing your child’s skills in several areas, including: > language arts and literacy > mathematics > science > social and emotional development > gross and fine motor development > character education Our core curriculum centers around exciting monthly themes. These themes offer children vast amounts of knowledge and experience, while allowing hands-on fun. Afterschool Program (Kinder-6th Grade) Our priority is to help students understand the concepts that are being learned at school. Since California has adopted the Common Core standards, our staff will utilize resources in order for your child to better master these concepts. In addition, our goal is to provide a loving environment in which your child can grow in all areas of his/her life, becoming all that God has intended for them to be. The purpose of our after school is to strengthen our student’s abilities to assert themselves with regard to ethical and moral issues, as well as to be responsible enough to handle their personal freedom in society.
