About Me
I’m the owner and lead teacher, and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology along with 15 years of experience in education. I'm also a proud mom to a wonderful 2-year-old son. Before opening this child care facility, I worked as a preschool teacher and ran summer classes for kids for almost a decade. My safety certifications include CPR and First Aid, so you can rest assured that your child is in capable hands.
I decided to start my own daycare because I wanted to manage my own time while continuing to do what I love: working with children and families. As a caregiver and psychology graduate, I find joy in understanding how children think and being a positive influence in their lives. Over the years, I've realized that kids are candid and full of wonder, making it easy and rewarding to work with them.
Programs & Hours
At Fairbrook Kids Playhouse, we cater to children aged 3 months to 12 years. Our hours are from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We understand that every family has unique needs, so we offer full-time, part-time, and before & after school care options (we’re near Chadwick Elementary School). We provide a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers can grow, learn, and, most importantly, have fun!
Curriculum & Activities
Our teaching philosophy is play-based, incorporating elements from the Mother Goose curriculum. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging, so I make sure the kids never get bored with all academics. We focus on more than just reading and writing; we also focus on self-improvement, as well as developing motor skills, and critical thinking.
Daily activities include painting, arts & crafts, and puzzles, all designed to stimulate your child's creativity and problem-solving skills. We have a fenced backyard and outdoor play area where the children can explore, play games, and enjoy the fresh air. Snacks are included in the tuition.
