Winsten Estates Kids Playhouse, Windsor Mill

Located in the Winsten Estates neighborhood of Windsor Mill, Winsten Estates Kids Playhouse is a licensed child care and preschool program that will be the home away from home for your children! Situated near Parkview Trail and Woodlawn, and just off Cantwell Rd, our in-home daycare offers easy access to the I-70 and I-695 interchange, making drop-offs and pickups a breeze. For parents commuting via the Baltimore National Pike, we’re also only a few minutes away.

Our doors are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We cater to a wide range of ages, from young infants (2 months old and up) to energetic toddlers and preschoolers. We know that parents’ work schedule can vary, so we offer flexible programs including full-time care and part-time care. We can also offer before and after school care for children up to 12-year-olds, which will be especially convenient for those attending the nearby Chadwick Elementary School. We accept child care subsidy vouchers to ensure that quality child care is accessible to all families!

I am a mom of three with over 30 years of experience in child care and early education, including 12 years running my own daycare. I bring a wealth of knowledge but most importantly, a deep love for children’s education. I started my daycare after being an assistant at another facility, which gave me great satisfaction. This allowed me to care for my own children, while helping other families. Here, every child is treated as part of the family, which is why so many parents trust me to care for their little ones from infancy through to their preschool years.

At Winsten Estates Kids Playhouse, we believe in learning through play. Our play-based teaching helps children develop creativity, social skills, and cognitive development. A typical day includes fun activities such as singing, dancing, arts and crafts, circle time, and story time. Besides English, I’m fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and if you wish, can introduce your little one to those foreign languages. Nutritious meals and snacks are prepared daily in our peanut-free and treenut-free facility, ensuring children not only play but also eat well. Those meals are already included in the tuition. We also take advantage of our wonderful outdoor play area and playground, where children can explore and enjoy nature whenever the weather permits.
