Welcome to our Childtime educational daycare in Alexandria, VA! My name is Janet and I am the center director. I have been with Childtime for over 14 years and the director here at the Alexandria Center for over seven years. Although my education was initially in the Criminal Justice field, I changed direction and began working in childcare almost 20 years ago. I continue taking classes as often as possible to further my understanding of children's growth. I truly value the relationships I share with each family. I stress openness and honesty with families and staff. My staff and I work hard to ensure that each family feels safe and secure at our location. At Childtime, our infant child care, preschool and early education programs provide the perfect foundation for learning and child development. Our teachers are very dedicated to our children and families in Alexandria, VA. More than half of our teachers have been at Childtime Alexandria for at least five years, and several have between 9 and 13 years with us here in Alexandria. Our teachers have a combined total of more than 150 years of experience! They receive continuous training through Childtime and participate in ongoing outside training through local colleges, the state of Virginia and Fairfax County. Our school is warm and inviting.
