Kensington Courts Children's Place is an intimate family child care and preschool program in Alexandria, VA. My home daycare is located in the Kensington Courts neighborhood, right off Edsall Rd (route 648) and S Van Dorn St (route 401). Your daily commute to work will be convenient since I'm near the I-95, Duke St (route 236), and the I-395 (Henry G. Shirley Memorial Hwy). I’m a professional child care provider and early educator with 9 years of experience and a Child Development Associate's Degree. I also hold CPR & First-aid certified, so you can be sure that your child is safe under my care at all times. At my daycare, each child receives plenty of individualized attention since I only accept a maximum of 4 children. As a parent myself, I know it’s difficult to leave your child in the hands of others. My goal is to provide high-quality care and early childhood education in a nurturing and safe environment where every child feels loved. I want you to have peace of mind while you’re away working.

Kensington Courts Children's Place is open all year from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 3 months and 5 years old, including children with ADHD and Autism. Healthy lunch and snacks are provided to all kids attending my program (included in the tuition). To prevent any possible allergies, I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment. I can also accommodate drop-in care for parents only looking for occasional child care needs. I accept older kids and offer before and after school care (my home is close to Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School).
