Welcome to Beverly Park Playhouse, our bilingual Spanish home daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. Our child care facility is located in the Beverly Park neighborhood, right off Mt. Vernon Ave (S Arlington Ridge Rd) and S Glebe Rd (route 120). Your commute to work will be very convenient since I have easy access to the I-395 and Richmond Hwy (US-1). We’re only a few minutes’ drive away from Crystal City, the Pentagon, and Ronald Reagan Airport.

I’m the owner of this nurturing child care and quality early education program. I’m a licensed caregiver with 11 years of professional experience. After successfully running a home daycare for years, this is my second facility! In addition to my experience, I hold a Child Development Associate's degree and CPR & First-aid certifications. As a mom of 3, I can relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding the best "second home" for your child.

Beverly Park Playhouse uses the Creative Curriculum and follows the Play-based learning approach, allowing children to learn through play and educational activities. Our program also focuses on life skills, and early literacy, and academics. We also emphasize child development and work with each child at their level. Fine and gross motor skill activities along with circle time, dance, drawing, and arts & crafts are some of our daily fun activities. In addition to English, we also teach our young students the Spanish language. This is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual at a young age. Parents love that I read and speak to their children in both English and Spanish, and they really like this fusion program. I maintain a harmonious relationship with parents and involve them, as much as I can, in our daily activities. I value their suggestions to align with activities they are doing at home.

Our licensed daycare and preschool is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer various flexible options to accommodate the needs of busy families. We can provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 1 month, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 6 years old. For parents only looking for occasional child care needs, drop-in care is the best option. All kids attending full-time are served with breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which are both included in the tuition. We also offer before and after school care for older kids (our home is near Charles Barrett Elementary School, St Rita's School, and Grace Episcopal School). To prevent possible allergies, we maintain a peanut and tree-nut free environment.

To prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses, we deep clean and sanitize toys and surfaces at the end of the day. We also often wash our hands in between activities and meals/snacks. Please contact us through CareLuLu to schedule a visit and get your $100 registration fee waived :)
