Valley View Children's Place II is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool in Alexandria, VA. This is our second location and after successfully running our first child care facility for a year, we decided to open a 2nd facility so we can serve more families! This licensed child care program is located in the Kings Highway neighborhood, near Groveton Heights Park. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since I'm only a minute drive away from these 2 major roads: S Kings Hwy (route 633) and Richmond Hwy (US-1). Hi, parents! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this high-quality child care and early childhood education program. I’m a licensed daycare provider with 30 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Infant Care. I’m also CPR & First-aid certified, so kids under my care are safe at all times. I know you’re anxious about leaving your little one to someone you barely know while away working. Don’t worry, like you, I’m also a parent, a mom to 3 children, so I understand how you feel. If you choose me, I will make sure to treat your kids as if they were my own.

Valley View Children's Place II is a bilingual Spanish program, so I teach kids the Spanish language in addition to English. I also engage my little students in fun, educational activities like Art and Music. My in-home daycare is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mondays through Fridays. I'm also open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (please send an email to inquire about weekend care). I offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 4 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. I serve peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks to all kids in my care (meals are already included in the tuition). I can also accommodate school-age children up to 12 years old and provide before and after school care (my home is near Groveton Elementary School and only 3 minutes’ drive away from Hybla Valley Elementary School). I've been running another small home daycare and this is our 2nd location. We decided to open a 2nd facility so we can serve more families, but also to be able to keep a small, intimate environment where individual care and attention can be provided to each child.
