Spanish Multicultural Academy is a year-round home-based daycare in Alexandria, VA. Our family child care program is run by Patricia Moya Cortez who has 15 years of child care experience.
We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 3 months through 5 years old, including children with special needs.
We offer both full time and part time child care. We provide meals and offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Spanish Multicultural Academy is a Spanish immersion program that uses a Montessori curriculum.

I am so happy that I found this caregiver! When I was looking at childcare options for my two year old I was so nervous. She has loved and cared for my daughter as her own, feeds her healthy meals and snacks and really takes the time to come up with educational projects for the little ones during the day. We are so grateful to have found this day care. Our 10 month old has been attending for about 5 months and it has been great so far. They are always doing fun activities like sensory and art projects, playing outside, reading, gymnastics/yoga, and so much more! The owner and her staff are wonderful and warm with the children. They run a very professional and loving day care.

We LOVE this daycare. My husband and I could not be more grateful for stumbling on this gem. The caregiver is kind, friendly, dedicated, and treats all of the kiddos as if they were her own. The owner and her staff have taught and taken care of our son for the past 6 months. They provide healthy snacks and well balanced home cooked meals. Our son’s speech and language have improved due to her patience and bi-lingual curriculum. I love this place! My daughter enjoys her time here and the delicious organic foods. I can be a worrier, and this provider eases this with her professionalism and caring nature with the kids in her care. It’s a wonderful environment for kids to blossom and grow.

My daughter attended this provider's last daycare where she was the co-lead teacher, and I am thrilled to recommend her new daycare. This provider started working with my daughter at 3mon and was communicative and very helpful answering questions of a new parent. This provider cared for our son for 2.5 years while working at another daycare. She is kind, patient, and encouraging. Our son loves her! any student would be lucky to be in her care.

This provider has been caring for our son Ryan since he was only 2 months old. She has been a wonderful part of our daycare, and second mom to our son. The best teacher you can ask for honestly.
My son was with her for past 2 years and he never wanted to come home hahah
