Welcome to Fosters Crest Playhouse, my home daycare in Alexandria, VA (in the Fosters Crest community, in Kingstowne). My home is right off Beulah St (route 613) with easy access to the I-495, I-95, I-395, as well as Fairfax County Parkway. I’m also a few minutes away from the Springfield Transportation Center which offers access to the Metro, VRE or Amtrak. I’m the owner and main caregiver of this small, nurturing child care and early childhood education program. I have 20 years of experience and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. As a mom of 3 myself, I can relate to your concerns when it comes to finding safe and quality care for your little one. At my daycare, your child will receive plenty of individual attention. My family child care program is open year-round from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 2 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 4 years old. Snacks are already included in the tuition, and served to all children attending my program. I follow the Play-based teaching approach, allowing children to learn through play and fun educational activities. I supply age-appropriate toys and engage my little students in fun activities such as reading, coloring, playing with blocks, learning shapes and much more! There are two community playgrounds near my house and if weather permits, I take them out so they can enjoy their outdoor playtime. In addition to English, I also speak Persian/Urdu/Dari/Farsi and at your request, I can expose your child to these foreign languages (however, please note that my daycare is not a bilingual program).
