About Me
Welcome to Franconia Children's Place, my lovely home daycare in Alexandria! I have successfully run my family child care program for over 30 years, and I offer safe and high quality care. I am CPR first-aid certified and I am truly passionate about child care and early childhood development! After so many years in the field, I can say with confidence that I consider myself an expert.
I am a mother of 2 lovely daughters, and I treat every child in my daycare as if they were my own. By providing families top quality care and a great experience, I have had the luxury of caring for children from birth to their later years, and even taking care of their siblings!
I offer lunch and snacks to the children in my care (included in the tuition), and run a peanut-free and treenut-free daycare. In addition to English, I also speak Farsi (Persian), and upon parent’s request, I can speak Farsi to your child (but we are not a bilingual Farsi daycare).
My Daycare
Franconia Children's Place offers full-time child care for newborn children and 2 years old. My hours of operation are Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
I believe that children learn through play, and thus offer a play-based child care program. Upon enrolling in my daycare, your child will have access to lots of educational toys, interactive playtime with fellow children, and fun activities like arts & crafts.
Franconia Children's Place is off Franconia Rd in Alexandria VA, near the Virginia DMV and Franconia Elementary School. My home is very conveniently located for your commute to work since I’m only a few minutes away from the I-95 / I-395 as well as the connector with the Beltway I-495.

Our daughter looks forward to her days with the caregiver and her friends at daycare. The caregiver has a great setup with a lot of things to entertain the kids and a separate bedroom for the kids to nap in. She is very easy to work with and we plan to bring our next child here when the time comes.

Alexander has been with this provider for a year now, since he was 12 weeks old. She has always made us feel very comfortable, even when it was, and still is, difficult to leave our child every day. My daughter has been going to her since she was 2 months (now 9 months) and we love this provider. She does a great with our daughter and genuinely loves her. Her home is clean and actually looks like a daycare center. She spends plenty time with our daughter and gives her the affection and love she needs as a baby.

This provider is a very loving care giver. We always feel comfortable that our son is in good hands and well loved with this provider. It's clear from drop off and pick up that our son loves her and enjoys his time with her and his friends. She sends pictures and videos throughout the day so you can see what your child is up to.

Would definitely recommend. I am very comfortable leaving the kids with her. She has very open communication and can work with your schedule most of the time. She sends candid pictures of the kids daily. The setup is very convenient with access to the backyard, the playroom and nap room. Great variety of toys.

We love these both provider! Both of my children had wonderful experiences at her house. She did a great job of working with our family to establish routines for each child. Both of my kids were with F. from 4 months to 2+years old. They both love her and have thrived in her care. As a first time Mom, I was terrified of leaving my tiny infant with a stranger, but F instantly put me at ease. I would recommend this provider to anyone looking for a safe and fun daycare for their child. She took care of our daughter at 3 months old when I returned to work. This provider provided care for my little princess for nearly three years. My first impression when I met her was "wow, my baby will not be bored!!" She has a bunch of toys, activities, and outdoor items she switched out every couple of months.

This provider has cared for both of my children over the past 4 years starting when they were each 3 months old. It is obvious that she loves children and has taken very good care of mine. Even with my oldest now in preschool she still enjoys going back to visit her.

This provider has been great with my son. He is happy to go to her house everyday. My son has not liked the transition to solid foods and this provider has helped him try new foods and ease the transition. I love the picture updates I receive each day. She is flexible with pick up and drop off, adjusting when our work schedules change.
