Welcome to Rose Hill Cozy Corner, a licensed daycare and preschool program located in the Rose Hill Farms neighborhood of Alexandria, VA. Our home-based child care setting is conveniently situated near Rose Hill Dr and the Rose Hill Plaza, with quick access to Telegraph Rd. (SR 611) and Rose Hill Elementary School.
Program:
We are open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our program offers both full-time and part-time child care for infants starting at 6 weeks old, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to age 5.
Daily snacks are included in tuition and are prepared in a peanut-free, tree-nut-free environment to ensure the safety of children with allergies. Families are welcome to pack a homemade lunch, or we can provide lunch for a fee if preferred.
About Me:
Hello parents! I’m the owner and primary caregiver at Rose Hill Cozy Corner. I have about 20 years of experience in early childhood care, a Bachelor's Degree in Arts, and certifications in CPR and First Aid. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive space where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow!
Caring for children has always been a central part of my life. As the eldest of 9 siblings and a mom of 3, I’ve spent a lifetime nurturing little ones. I believe that a great daycare should feel like an extension of home, built on trust, love, and meaningful relationships. I work closely with each family to support every child’s unique development and take great pride in being part of their early learning journey.

Daily Activities:
Each day is filled with hands-on, play-based activities that spark curiosity and foster development. Children enjoy painting, gardening, science experiments, outdoor play, and interactive group games. Circle time encourages cooperation, communication, and social skills in a fun, engaging way.
In addition to English, I speak Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi fluently, and am happy to incorporate these languages into our activities upon request. This allows children to develop early multilingual skills in a playful, natural environment. Through creative play, your child will build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

What a beautiful place this is! Both our children learned an incredible amount of things and had a wonderful time being with this caregiver!!! We’ve since moved out of state and still remain in touch. Anxiety about leaving your child with someone else disappeared within days and I was jealous of my kids for having such a good time every day….

My little one absolutely loved this provider. What i love about her that she provides a montessory style care, where my child learned new things everyday with alot of fun. My son developed a love for art and craft because of her. I have a picky eater, but in her care, I was relaxed because she would make sure my little one was full and I was satisfied. Her care is not just a typical daycare, she showers the kids with love.
