I’m the owner and caregiver of Almaz Family Child Care in Alexandria, and I have 10 years of child care experience. I provide child care for infants as young as 6 weeks up to 5 years old.
In addition to English, I also speak Arabic and can expose your child to a foreign language if you’d like (I can also provide a bilingual child care environment).
My daycare hours are from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. I offer full-time care, snacks are included in the tuition for the children in my care, and children bring lunch from home.
I also offer before school care for school-age children up to 12 years old: my home is less than a mile away from the Franconia Elementary School, and there are bus stops right next to my house for Bush Hill Elementary School and Mark Twain Middle School.

My daughter has been with this daycare provider since she was 6 months old. Words can not express how happy we are with the care our daughter receives here. This daycare provider is very loving and kind our daughter is always happy to come here. I like that she sends home updates on how our daughters day was. I would recommend this daycare to anyone looking for child care.

This provider has been a dream for our family. We have been with her since our little one was 3 months old and have been overjoyed at the attention and care that has been provided over the past 2 years. I cannot say enough great things about this provider and her care of our child. From day one, we knew we chose the best option for our family. She is able to accommodate our work hours and provides generous feedback on how the baby does throughout the day. I can't rate curriculum as she is caring for an infant, but she does limit screen time and pushes the kids to play together. I would highly recommend her.

This provider has cared for our newborn son since he was two months old. It is apparent every day when we leave our son with the provider how careful she is with the children in her charge. This provider took care of my daughters for 6 years before and afterschool. I was able to go to work knowing that my children would be safe and well-cared for. Our families became extensions of one another. This provider considers my daughters to be her children to this day, and they consider her to be their second mom. She was very conscientious and caring with my son. Always attentive to his needs and his well being. She kept her house immaculately clean, kept his day very well structured with proper meal times, nap times as well as fun. She took all necessary precautions for the safety of my son and treated him as her own son. I highly recommend her for her excellent work ethics.
