Maple Grove Children's Corner is an intimate home-based daycare in Alexandria, VA. This licensed family child care program is located in the Maple Grove Estates neighborhood, right off Franconia Rd. Your daily commute to work will be convenient since the daycare has easy access to major roads, such as the I-495 Capital Beltway, S Van Dorn St, and Telegraph Rd.
About Us:
Hi, parents! I’m the owner and main caregiver, and I’m also a mom of 5. I have a decade of child care and early education experience and hold a Master's Degree in Religious Studies. I run the daycare with my 2 assistants and they have 14 years of combined experience. In our care, we make sure that each child receives plenty of individualized attention. They are also safe in our care since I’m CPR & First-aid certified.
Program & Curriculum:
We’re open all through the year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Our program offers full-time and part-time care for children between the age of 1 week and 5 years old.
We’re part of the USDA food program, and we serve peanut and tree-nut free meals to all kids in our care (lunch and snacks are included in the tuition).
Maple Grove Children's Corner follows the Play-based learning approach, allowing children to learn through play. In addition to English, we can also teach your child the Hindi and Urdu languages, however, please note that we’re not a bilingual program.

On our first day dropping our then two-month old son at this daycare the daycare head, reassured us by saying "think of this as leaving your son with a grandmother." Well, "Grandma" has been lovely with our son from day one. My daughter and I both love this daycare. My little one has been going since she was 2 months and it has been amazing. My daughter is very well attended to, there are tons of toys, yummy food, books, you name it. This provider has always gone out of her way to help when I need flexibility, she is the kindest person I know. her credentials are great.
