Smart Start is an infant toddler program that meets the developmental needs of your growing and changing child.We provide personalized care in a warm and nuturing envrionment with staff that are certified care providers with CPR and First Aid training. Smart Start is a small company owned and operated by the same person. We have been at this location since 1997 and enjoy working with Parents from all over Long Island. Proudly, we are recommended by previous customers and repeat customers yearly. You and your child will receive personalized attention where all the care providers will know you and your child. Smart start is comprised of teachers, teacher assistants, and care providers that have no other main concern than your child, his/her development, safety and happiness. Our program meets the needs of ages 6 weeks to 3 years of age. Here, we provide opportunitites for your children to explore and discover in our spacious indoor activity areas. Everyday, your children will be involved in arts and crafts for the development of fine motor skills as well as learn from our academic curriculum. Our large outdoor area for the development of gross motor skills. We aim to be different than most large daycare centers as they may not have that close connection between the children and the teachers. The children in our care are a large part of our lives and we quickly have grown into a happy family known as Smart Start. For your convenience, we are located next door to Pee Wee Folks Pre-School that your child can continue on to after the age of 3. Smart Start is a licensed child care center in Amityville, NY.
