I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 23 years of professional child care experience. I run my home-based daycare with my 2 assistants who have 21 years of combined experience and both hold Bachelor degrees. I’m CPR & First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained so I can administer medication to all kids in my care. I’m a mother of two daughters, and I have two grandchildren, so I can relate to every parent when it comes to finding the best daycare for their children.

We want our daycare to be an environment where kids can grow and flourish, and reach their full potential. Our goal is to make sure that each child receives high-quality care and plenty of individual attention. We have opened our home and our heart to many children and families. We are warm, loving individuals and genuinely value and care for children.

Fairdale Bilingual Playhouse follows the Play-based and Montessori-based approach. We recognize the importance of developmentally appropriate toys and see to it that children participate in art and music activities, reading activities, and outdoor play (weather permitting). We teach our students numbers, shapes, colors, animals, body parts and opposites. Our daycare is a bilingual Spanish program so in addition to English, we teach our little students the Spanish language. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn this beautiful language. We like to structure our activities around seasons, for instance we are now doing "Fall" activities. In the winter, we will start new activities that are revolving around Christmas and the Holidays.

We’re open all throughout the year from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. We offer full-time, part-time, and drop-in care for newborn babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children between the age of 0 weeks and 13 years old. Our daycare provides nutritious lunch and snacks to all kids attending our program, which are already included in the tuition. We also run a peanut and tree-nut free environment to avoid possible allergies. We have a single-family home with a lovely backyard and play area for the children to enjoy during warm weather. Our child care space is warm and welcoming and feels like a preschool classroom. We have children's artwork hanging, photos and holiday cards. There are toys for infants, toddlers activity sets that teach numbers and shapes with music and songs, etc.

Our family child care and preschool program is located in the Fairdale neighborhood in Annandale, VA. Our home is near Backlick Park and Backlick Rd (route 617) and we’re just less than 3 minutes’ drive away from Ravensworth Rd. Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since we’re between Little River Turnpike (route 236) and Braddock Rd (route 620).
