Parkwood Weekday Early Education (WEE) Center, Annandale

The Parkwood Weekday Early Education (WEE) Center is a Christian Preschool in Annandale, VA. At the WEE Center, we enroll children 15 months through 5 years for 2-5 days per week. We maintain or exceed the NAEYC standards and are certified through the State of Virginia for Religiously Exempt Programs. The WEE Center staff provide a wide variety of developmentally appropriate activities for children entrusted in our care. The children's natural curiosity is stimulated by teacher-directed and child-initiated activities. The program includes both individual and group experiences that are appropriate for the child's developmental level, encompasses a variety of learning styles, and encourages creative exploration and play. Through hands-on activities and play, we encourage a relationship with Christ and a love for learning. Each child is encouraged to learn at his or her own pace through a program of daily activities that include: Learning Centers, Creative Art, Outdoor Exploration, Classroom Discovery, Literacy, Math, Science, Movement and Music. In addition to classroom activities, the students have daily music class, weekly chapel lessons, weekly library visits and monthly science lessons.
