JAC Preschool has been operational for 5 years. Shoshana has been teaching for 30+ years now. Our teachers hail from different parts of the world and have vast experiences with children and continue to further their experiences. JAC uses the integrated creative curriculum, a research-based and developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers through Pre-K. Using this framework, our teachers are able to teach in different ways that best match the developmental abilities of each child. Our children are our first priority and we believe in identifying and nurturing the children's interest and stepping in to reinforce their skills by providing materials that give them the opportunity to develop and learn how to express themselves. Our Center is open and roomy giving the child an opportunity to explore the different settings in their surroundings. Our teachers make learning visible and display the children's work around their classrooms and also store art works for future reference and to keep progress. JAC Preschool encourages and involves parents in different activities in the school throughout the year. We believe in hands on approach; projects, art work, writing, nature walks to feel and see our surrounding environment. As they explore all these, we encourage and support them to integrate other skills like problem solving, literacy and speech and finally outside time involving a lot of physical activities.
